It’s that time again! It’s time to pull up old plants and start planting new seeds for a fall harvest! Don’t let the coming cooler weather fool you, you can have just as big of a harvest in the fall as you do in the summer.

Its been a hot one this year. As I’m typing the heat index is climbing to an astounding 107 degrees. The plants are having a bit of a hard time to say the least. And it doesn’t help that it hasn’t rained in weeks. Right now, I’m counting the days until fall. It has been challenging to gather up the motivation to get out there in the heat of the morning to take care of the garden I do have. Thankfully it’s almost time to make some space in the garden and plant some new plants, which brings me to my next point.
What plants can I plant in the fall? And when should I start?
Its time to start right now! July is the month I always get outside (no matter how hot it is) and start planting new seeds in the ground.
