Place the 2 pounds of ground beef into the Instant Pot. Using a spatula, break up the meat as it begins to cook. Sauté for about 2 minutes, just until the beef starts to brown.
Sprinkle both packets of taco seasoning over the beef. Mix well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed. Unlike traditional taco meat recipes, you don’t need to add any water.
Secure the Instant Pot lid, making sure it is properly locked in place. Set the vent to the “Sealing” position.
Select the “Pressure Cook” setting on high pressure and set the timer for 10 minutes. The Instant Pot will take a few minutes to build pressure before the timer starts counting down.
Once the cooking time is complete, carefully perform a quick release by turning the vent to the “Venting” position. Once all the pressure has released and the pin drops, open the lid. Use a slotted spoon to remove the beef from the Instant Pot and drain any excess grease if necessary.
Place the taco meat in a serving bowl and use it as a filling for tacos, burritos, nachos, or salads. Enjoy!

Storage and Reheating Tips
Refrigerate: Store leftover taco meat in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Freeze: Place cooled taco meat in a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheat: Warm in a skillet over medium heat or microwave in 30-second intervals until heated through. You may want to add a touch of water when reheating to avoid the beef from drying out.
