- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp minced onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Add all of the seasonings to a mixing bowl.
Mix all of the seasonings together with a spoon or whisk.
Once completely mixed together, place in an airtight container, zip lock bag, or use it right away.
If you are ready to use the taco seasoning right away, one batch is the equivalent to one store bought packet. Add a 1/3 cup of water to the taco meat just as you would with a packet. Stir and let cook for a couple of minutes. Then remove from heat.
