My name is Rebecca and I am the owner of this blog, Santa Rosa Homestead. I am a wife and mother, and a believer in Christ. Without Jesus, I would be nothing and have nothing. He truly is my savior.
Why I started this blog
I started this blog to share my favorite recipes, gardening tips, and other helpful information I’ve learned. My favorite thing to post about is food. I love to share my favorite recipes for everyone to enjoy! What’s funny is that I actually use this blog as my own digital recipe box. Instead of searching through the note cards, I just come here to find the recipe I’m looking for! I will also forever have a digital copy of all of my favorite recipes for my children when they are all grown up. 🥹 Of course I may just write them all down so they’ll have something a little more personal, but this will be here just in case one recipe gets lost or ruined.
Some things I like to do
Some of my favorite things to do are be with my family, garden, and then cook with the food we grew that God provided for us. I love planting seeds with my family and watching them turn from a seed to a small plant, and finally to a source of food. It really is a beautiful thing. I always feel so connected with God when I’m in the garden. Feeling the warm dirt, seeing the beautiful flowers that will eventually turn into fruits and vegetables. I just think that is the neatest thing!
